Total Telecom – T-Mobile US pays steep price for ‘best ever’ quarterly net adds

Telco consultant Bengt Nordström holds the same point of view.

“T-Mobile is being very creative and we are beginning to see more competition in the U.S., but T-Mobile is having to pour a lot of money into it,” he told Total Telecom this week, and unless its customer base reaches a sufficient scale, the investment will become unsustainable.

“The U.S. market still needs to be consolidated beneath AT&T and Verizon,” he concluded.
