Review the strategy for Long-term Product portfolio plan

A leading Telecom vendor engaged Northstream to assist them in reviewing their long-term product portfolio plan by providing expert opinion on the chosen strategy. The main objective of the project was to support the management team of the vendor with an outside-in analysis of the current situation of its portfolio, given Operators’ point of view on criticality of major strategic technology areas and competitor offerings.​

In order to perform this assignment, Northstream (together with the client) had chosen to gather information via research and a set of interviews. As part of the assignment process, Northstream evaluated Operators’ demands in various markets/regions and had compared them against developed(ing) technologies and products according the vendor’s portfolio. Eventually, Northstream discussed the pros and cons of different strategic approaches that the client have considered, in order to help stay ahead of its competitor in addressing customers’ demands and requirements.
