Support in planning & business case for network rollout
A European communications provider was investigating the possibility to build and operate a new communications network. Northstream was engaged from the early stages to support with subject matter expertise regarding e.g. the network rollout process, investment levels, and organizational planning. This was further developed into a full-scope financial business case with detailed OPEX and CAPEX modeling for all relevant cost items (equipment & support, infrastructure, IT, personnel), with pricing input from e.g. benchmarks and triangulation with internal and external stakeholders.
The business case enabled the client to easily define different scenarios by varying key parameters such as rollout pace and number of sites. This gave the client a deeper understanding of the key cost drivers in building the network, and served as the basis for further discussions within the management team and Board.
