The client was newly established as a mobile operator in Japan. Northstream was engaged to support the procurement of a WCDMA network. The client was advised to invite global vendors to an open tender process resulting in the signing of agreements with the two main industry players. Northstream continued to support the client over many years by providing advice on billing system strategy, service platform strategy, HSPA evolution, LTE introduction, outsourcing and system support and general operational strategic advice. Several RFQ rounds were supported throughout the assignment.
