Wei has a broad set of experience ranging from innovation strategy and entrepreneurship to market research and marketing in both Europe and China. Being business-minded, tech-inspired and human-centered, she is devoted to creating provoking insight and innovative solutions to help clients adapt and prosper in the ever-changing digital era.
Prior to joining Northstream, Wei performed innovation strategy projects for the Finnish post (Posti), European Commission and Electrolux. She also conducted consumer research at Kairos Future and telecom industry research at China Center for Industry Security Research as well as implemented trainings for Ericsson. In addition, she has been active in the startup scene in Europe and China through co-founding the first Nordic digital health startup accelerator, helping raise a corporate venture capital fund and consulting multiple startups regarding go-to-market strategy, capital raising and scaling up.
Wei holds a master’s degree in Business and Management from Stockholm School of Economics. She has also received design thinking education from Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship and University of Virginia as well as doctoral marketing research education from Tsinghua University.
